Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in numerous television shows. Family members fled from Afghanistan, and seeking for asylum in US. She was born in the US. Her family raised her with two sisters living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her TV career by being featured in National Commercials. Ghanizada's role in the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a festival. Her TV guest-starring performances comprise How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NUMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. In recent times, she was in the independent comedy You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 as well as the action-science film Blood Shot. Ghanizada made her debut in 2008 as a cast part of General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. In the second season of Nightshift, she played holistic doctor the Dr. Saira Bastra. In 2009 Ghanizada played Kelly a Prada salesperson in HBO's Entourage and joined the crew of the TV show's pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan as well as executive producer T Bone Burnett.
